What the AI does

The AI in DiagAuto AI turns your vehicle's technical data into clear explanations, and helps you know what to check first.

Fault codes explained

For each code, the AI explains what it means, the probable causes from most to least likely, and what to check first. It relies on the official meaning of the code and takes into account your vehicle, its fuel and the measurements taken.

Codes from the other control units

The codes read from the control units (transmission, ABS, airbag...) can also be explained. Manufacturer-specific codes are harder to interpret: the AI is instructed not to guess their meaning.

Diagnosis starting from a symptom

A noise, a vibration, smoke, but no code? Describe what you notice in your own words: the AI suggests the possible causes and the checks to make.

Diagnostic chat

Chat with the AI as you would with a mechanic: it already knows your codes and your vehicle, asks you one or two targeted questions, then refines its diagnosis as the conversation goes on.

Service light reset

The procedure to reset the service indicator of your model, step by step. If it requires a professional tool, the AI tells you so rather than inventing a procedure.

In your language

The AI answers in the language of the app. In the chat, write in your language: it answers in the same one.

A cautious AI

Its limits

The answers are generated by an artificial intelligence (Claude, by Anthropic). They may contain errors and do not replace the opinion of a professional mechanic: have it checked before replacing a part. To work, the AI receives the vehicle data useful for the diagnosis (model, fault codes, measurements, and the VIN in the chat if it has been read), never your name or your location.
